NPAP

Seven of our cadets went through the NPAP. Well done guys. It is a very tiring but rewarding experience for all f them. It was a roller coaster ride for the seven of them. There was injuries and tiredness for them but we are proud of all seven of them. I will like to thank all seven of them again for the great effort that they have put in. Thank you for the spectators for going down to the parade to support their fellow cadets.

HRC

Mr Shahid bought our sec 4 cadets to Pulau Ubin for HRC. It was a great Saturday morning for our sec 4.

SEC 3 .22 UNIT SHOOT

For the sec 3 shoot this year, we managed to have 5 marksmen. All five of them collected their marksmen badge from Mdm Shanti. Job well done to everyone who took part in the shoot.

Ms Yeo bought Mcdonald meal for the marksmen as an added incentive. ;)

TOTAL DEFENCE DAY

NPCC was in charge of the field cooking portion of the total defence day for the school. The sec 3,4 and 5 cadets are in charged of teaching the sec 4 on how to do field cooking as a form of outdoor survival.

Mr Shahid conducted the lesson on Total Defence lesson for our total defence bronze badge in the same week.

INTER-UNIT CAMPCRAFT COMPETITION

Our unit took part in the inter-unit campcraft competition. This is a bi-yearly competition for NPCC. This is a good experience for the cadets. We are able to observe and learn from other school while this competition also exposed the cadets to competition at national level. We were unable to send a girls team for the competition this year. With the 7 girls from sec 1 and 3 girls from sec 2 this year. I hope we will be able to send a girls' team in two years time.

CCA OPEN HOUSE

NPCC Ping Yi has our CCA open house with the rest of the CCAs on the 7th Jan. We managed to have 16 sec one to join NPCC this year. The seniors worked vey hard to set up our CCA booth. It is really an enjoyable saturday morning.
